Mr. Hill is a leader of the firm's national Labor and Employment Department. For over 25 years, Mr. Hill has specialized in the defense of employment litigation in state and federal courts. He has successfully defended private and public employers involved in wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, complex wage and hour, employee benefits and unfair competition litigation. In the process, Mr. Hill has first-chaired over 200 adversarial proceedings to decision, including jury and bench trials, labor arbitrations and various administrative trials and adjudicatory hearings. Mr. Hill has also served as counsel of record in well over 500 civil lawsuits, filed in 15 different states, including numerous class actions.

A primary focus of Mr. Hill's practice has been the defense of complex wage and hour litigation. He continues to serve as lead counsel in such cases for many Fortune 100 companies, and he has argued some of the most important wage and hour cases yet decided by the California appellate courts.
